Your investment in your dental health is important to us. Our dental treatment warranty provides the most protection for you and your decision to proceed with our treatment recommendations. We are proud to be the only office in Montgomery County to offer a written guarantee for the dental treatment provided to you. We can do this because of our high quality materials, expertise and most importantly, for your peace of mind.
Fillings
If a composite (tooth-colored) or amalgam (silver) filling is the recommended treatment of choice, we will replace or repair it in the event of failure for a period of two years. If the tooth breaks and requires a crown within the two year period, we will credit the cost of the filling towards the new crown.
Oral Appliances
These include mouth-guards, snoring appliances and sleep apnea devices. We will warranty these oral appliances for a period of two years from the date of delivery. We will repair or replace your device at no charge if it breaks within this time frame. Normal wear and tear is not a cause for warranty replacement.
Root Canals
Root canal treatment is approximately 95% successful. They do occasionally fail. If you lose your tooth within three years due to failure of the root canal, we will apply the root canal fee as a credit towards a replacement tooth. NOTE: If the tooth breaks because you did not have it properly restored following the root canal procedure, the warranty will not apply.
Dentures and Partial Dentures
We will warranty dentures and partials for a period of three years if a tooth chips or breaks, or if the acrylic breaks under normal use. This warranty does not cover accidents such as dropping your denture. Full upper and lower denture patients must be seen once every 12 months.
Crowns, Bridges and Porcelain Veneers
We will warranty these procedures for a full five years. We will repair or replace them at no charge to you during this five year period if they break for any reason.
Dental Implants
We will warranty dental implants placed in our office for a period of five years. If the implant fails for any reason (except for smoking), we will replace it at no cost to you.
Warranty Requirements
This dental warranty does not cover damage to teeth or prosthesis caused by accidents, trauma, negligence, or recurrent decay.
This warranty is effective immediately upon completing any of the above services and will be in effect for the period of time detailed when you meet the following requirements:
- Return for your regularly scheduled examination and cleaning appointments
- If you must reschedule, you will notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time
- Use any anti-cavity rinses or gum disease medications as prescribed
- Follow our recommendations for destructive habits such as clenching or grinding which may lead to future problems (we may prescribe a mouth guard for home use).
